John Royen expands beyond the solo piano sound with his John Royen Trio. Along with Hal Smith on Drums and Marty Eggers on bass, the trio plays a wide array of styles from classic rags and one steps, through New Orleans jazz, to Chicago and Harlem swing. Both Hal and Marty have extensive experience with many of the top traditional jazz performers on the scene today. Their musical expertise adds a wonderful depth to John’s performances. They are available for festivals as well as private functions and presentations. |
